As the name suggests, conductive adhesives are adhesives that conduct electricity. It contains silver powder as an ingredient that conducts electricity and is sometimes referred to as silver paste or conductive paste.
In recent years, the use of conductive adhesives has been expanding as a means of conductive bonding in place of solder, as more and more products are made of films and resins with low heat resistance.

How to use conductive adhesives

- I want to remove (peel off) the adherend after conductive bonding.
- For room temperature drying type CN-7120 and CN-7122S, it is possible to remove the bonded workpiece by heating it again to about 100°C after drying.
For other part numbers (such as those using epoxy resin), it is difficult to remove the adherend once bonded.
- How do I open the syringe?
- ①First, remove the paste from the freezer and allow it to stand at room temperature, tightly sealed, for 30 minutes to bring it to room temperature. Wipe off the adhesive to prevent condensation from mixing with the adhesive.
②Open the head cap.

③Open the needle cap by turning it counterclockwise.
Note that paste will be dispensed if the needle cap is opened before the head cap.

- How to apply the paste if there is no dispenser?
- When applying without using a dispenser, use a spatula or other thin object to push out the paste as shown in the figure below.
*Do not remove the yellow plug (plunger).
*Please note that when applying without using a dispenser, it will be difficult to dispense the paste if a needle is attached. |
- Are needles sold separately?
- We do not provide needles, so please prepare the needles yourself.
Regarding the purchase of conductive adhesive (silver paste).
- What is the minimum sales unit?
- Although the packing style differs depending on the product number, we sell syringes and aluminum tubes in units of one.

Regarding storage of conductive adhesive (silver paste).
- The product arrived frozen. Is it also frozen for storage?
- TK PASTE should be stored frozen (-10℃). We ship it by cool (frozen) delivery, so please store it in the freezer as soon as possible after you receive it.

- I would like to know the deterioration and service life of conductive adhesive (silver paste). Do you have any data?
- The deterioration of conductive adhesives (silver paste) depends on the environment in which the adhesive is applied, the materials to be bonded, and the bonding conditions.
